Crafting a joyful brand experience for ICEE
ICEE approached Mac n Cheese Media looking for a commercial to support their “Let the Kid Out” brand campaign. The video would be used to communicate a sense of nostalgia and inspire the ICEE team at their annual sales conference.
Tasked with capturing the joy of experiencing an ICEE, our challenge was to blend vivid visuals with the simple delight associated with the brand.

Planning
The ICEE team was leaning on the Mac N Cheese Media team to bring fresh ideas to the table. Our concept began with working to capture the feeling of childhood joy and using a setting that inspired that feeling.
What our clients say
For the "Let the Kid Out" campaign, we focused on creating visuals that felt both fresh and true to the spirit of ICEE. We used some creative techniques, like underwater filming with special waterproof gear, to capture the refreshing vibe of the drink. To keep things dynamic, we even built a custom dolly to get unique shots that really made the product stand out.
Over two days, we shot in three different locations, including ICEE’s headquarters, working through some challenges to make sure the ICEE looked its best. The pool scene, in particular, really captured the joy and fun that ICEE brings to people of all ages.
